December 19, 2022 - The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) and United East Conference (UEC) announced their collective intentions to merge operations for the 2023-24 academic year. The CSAC previously lost three lacrosse schools - Kean (NJ), Montclair State (NJ), and Stockton (NJ) - this past summer to the Coastal Lacrosse Conference.
The CSAC, which has an NCAA automatic qualifying bid, entered into an agreement with the New England Collegiate Conference in August, allowing the three lacrosse-playing schools of the NECC to compete with the CSAC for its AQ spot.
The United East, which will receive an NCAA AQ for the first time in 2023, will lose SUNY Morrisville to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) at the end of the 2023 season, leaving the conference with just five lacrosse-playing schools, one fewer than required for an AQ. Alfred State (NY), a member of the United East, will add men’s lacrosse for the 2025 season.
January 9, 2023 - Eastern Nazarene College, a member of the NECC, will join the NAC effective July 1, 2023.
CSAC Lacrosse Membership in 2024 Season (2023 in parentheses):
Bryn Athyn College (CSAC)
Cairn University (CSAC)
Hilbert College (UEC)
Keystone College (CSAC)
La Roche University (UEC)
Mitchell College (NECC)

Penn College (UEC)
