Why did you choose to play Division 3 lacrosse?
"I knew I wasn’t going to go play Division 1 lacrosse, and knew Division 3 would be the best for me."
What are the positives, and the negatives, to playing Division 3 lacrosse?
"Positives: small school, everyone knows each other, class sizes are not huge, easily work with professors since class sizes are no bigger than 25 people
Negatives: Don’t get as much attention as Division 1 schools, not as much funding, do not get to keep your gear you use in season"
You’re now a junior at Rivier University, what has your experience been like the past two years?
"Experience so far has been mixed. With Covid still being a thing freshman year we couldn’t really do much. My sophomore year was everyone's first full season back in two years, and we had to adjust to it. Currently as a junior I lived in a hotel for the duration of my fall semester after a pipe burst. Everyone in my building was able to move back just last week. "
What is your major and why did you choose that? What is your plan after college with the major?
"I am a Cybersecurity Management major. I was a Criminal Justice major, but realized more opportunities for me after college would open up with cybersecurity. I am hoping to enter within the cybersecurity field working in any division. I have two more years of eligibility after my senior year so I am looking to potentially complete my masters in Computer Science and play lacrosse. "
What inspired you to start content creation and what advice would you give to someone wanting to start creating content?
"I always dreamed of one day doing something in lacrosse, and I have found that within TikTok. Creating content around Division 3 lacrosse was something I would not have expected a few years ago, but looking up to guys like Colin and Samir back in The Lacrosse Network days, as well as guys like Greg and Mike over at East Coast Dyes inspired me into realizing that Division 3 guys can have a big impact on our sport. It is such a small niche within lacrosse that makes everyone a family. "
What was your recruiting process like and what advice would you give on the recruiting process?
"To be completely honest, I was barely recruited. I was a bench player on a really good high school team and would only get some minutes in club lacrosse. But being from a very good town taught me everything I knew, and was able to get some Division 3 interest. Going from not playing at all in high school to starting every game my freshman year of college was an adjustment I was ready to make and it has worked out for me so far. "
What is your pregame song?
"Anything Mac Miller"
You’re on a road trip, what 3 items are you grabbing from the gas station?
"Spicy Nacho Doritos, Airheads Extreme, and a Dr. Pepper"
