Top Teams Remain Largely the Same with Tons of Separation Games Ahead This Week
March 5, 2024 - Once again, little change was seen among the ranked schools in our D3 Lax Composite Poll presented by Powell Lacrosse, even after the NESCAC opened play this past weekend.
That may very well change following a busy week of ranked v. ranked games, beginning on March 6 with No. 9 RPI traveling to play at No. 6 Middlebury. Also on Wednesday, No. 24 Kenyon hits the road to play No. 5 Dickinson. No. 10 Union travels to No. 18 Williams.
Oh, yeah, there is the business of No. 4 CNU playing at No. 2 Tufts on Wednesday at 6 pm ET.
Looking ahead to Saturday, No. 13 W&L is at No. 7 Gettysburg while No. 1 Salisbury heads to No. 10 York. Sunday features No. 20 Denison at No. 12 Lynchburg and No. 6 Middlebury at Babson.
Buckle up, folks! This week will be fun!
A total of 35 schools received recognition in at least one poll this week, including 34 teams in the USILA poll. Our composite Week 5 poll is listed below.
